Course in Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence

D2L Pharma Research Solutions, an integrated pharma service provider offers a year-long course in Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence. The course is expected to provide candidates the much-needed expertise to become business analysts.

The company will take only 10 students for the course and these will be four from B Pharm, four from BDS/MBBS and 2 BE (Biotech) graduates.

The training fee for a year is Rs 90,000. They will also get an opportunity to work on projects focused on global pharma markets. After completing the course, the candidate will get absorbed as a Business Analyst into D2L Pharma team.

New Courses at Lotus Clinical Research Academy

Lotus Clinical Research Academy (LCRA) recently announced that it will commence two courses soon.

M.S IN PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY - KANSAS UNIVERSITY, USA
and
M.PHARM IN CLINICAL RESEARCH - BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, RANCHI

The former being an online Post Graduate programme, taught by renowned professors from Kansas University which is expected to commence in February 2009. A detailed article appeared in the Pharmabiz today, which stated "The two-year course fee is Rs 16 lakh and banks are open to fund such initiatives for students. After being registered to the course, students will be provided a password to download the entire syllabus along with the video versions of lectures creating a typical classroom environment."
